Italian agritech startup Evja has raised €4.2M in a pre-series A round, led by CDP Venture Capital, SEFEA Impact, with previous investor Startupbootcamp Foodtech investing again. These funds will be primarily used to grow the team, set up international scale up, and further develop the company’s services.
Evja is an Italian agritech startup leader in precision agriculture for the horticulture market and a StartLife alumnus. This funding round Evja follows already secured investment from Baywa, RWA, Startupbootcamp Foodtech, and StartLife.
Thanks to its predictive agronomic models and AI, Evja offers farmers worldwide a patented precision agriculture system for the optimization of irrigation, fertilization, and protection of horticultural crops.
Growing internationally
The technical and scientific quality of its service has allowed Evja to secure customers in nine countries (on four continents), granting it a leadership position in the horticulture segment, both in open field and greenhouses. Evja holds three international patents that secure its position in the market.
“After bootstrapping our way until now, we are finally ready to scale-up”, said Evja CEO Davide Parisi. “This round will allow us to boost our sales and further optimize the product, while always preserving our core strength: premium technology and scientific precision”.

This gives us strong confidence in our investment to accelerate growth”.
