Requirements
As Lead Technician at SAIA, you will contribute to the installation and assembly of SAIA water technology, cultivation, and automation systems within horticulture. In this role, you are a working foreman: you work alongside the team on location while simultaneously ensuring that the work within the team is well coordinated and executed.
What are your tasks?
- Assisting in the installation and assembly of water technical systems, cultivation systems, and automation technology in greenhouses.
- Installing the cultivation systems and water systems in the greenhouse. Installing harvesting robots on-site, test-running them, and solving practical problems together with our team of engineers.
- Carry out inspection, maintenance, and improvements to the SAIA cultivation systems.
- Guiding colleagues during the execution of the work;
- Distribute and coordinate work within the team on location;
- Checking whether installations are delivered technically correct and neatly;
- Consult with project management regarding technical questions or specifics.
