Company: Odd.Bot
About the job
You always maintain an overview and know exactly what is happening within purchasing and logistics. With a practical and pragmatic approach, you ensure that our processes not only run smoothly but are also continuously improved and taken to the next level. While your colleagues focus on the development and production of our robots, you are an indispensable link in the logistics process!
We have been working on autonomous weeding robots for years. Our primary goal is to enable our robot to remove weeds faster, more effectively, and as robustly as possible. At Odd.Bot, we understand that outdoor environments pose a challenge for precise mechatronic machines, but it is precisely these challenges that drive us forward. We want biological weed control to become the standard on all fields.
At Odd.Bot, it is not just about working hard, but also about having fun. We strive for a good work-life balance. Our team is immensely proud of our achievements, and we love celebrating these successes as often as we can. Within our team, we place great value on time management, pragmatic thinking and problem-solving skills, flexibility, good risk management, collaboration, planning, organization, and teamwork.
Requirements
- MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in a relevant field such as Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within purchasing and/or logistics.
- Experience in a technical or production environment is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience with process optimization and streamlining logistics and purchasing processes.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Full-time position (36-40 hours per week).
The candidate
You are responsible for coordinating procurement processes and managing logistics flows. You excel at selecting suppliers and negotiating prices and contract terms, while simultaneously maintaining a good relationship with them. Naturally, you have foresight and ensure that orders are ready on time, so that we never have to wait for parts and materials – even if this presents a challenge in organizing transport and efficient delivery.
You perform this work independently, but you do not lose sight of contact with your colleagues in production and customer service. Where necessary, you provide manuals and documentation for the purchasing processes and contribute to the development of our future ERP system. Throughout your work, you ensure correct purchase orders, product quality checks, and reporting. Additionally, you proactively work on improvements to the operational and logistical processes.
Because Odd.Bot is a fast-growing scale-up and our Operations department is still taking shape, we expect you to take on operational support where necessary during the initial period. This could include, for example, coordinating technical issues in the field or maintaining contact with the dealer channel. This gives you the opportunity to play a broad role within Operations and actively contribute to the further professionalization of our organization.
