Over Rival Foods
At Rival Foods, you'll help build a new future where plant-based products can compete with animal products, without compromising on health, animal welfare, or sustainability. We've developed a unique, patented technology to produce the tastiest plant-based meat. Production began last year at our Geldrop facility and we're working hard to scale up further. This requires a technical professional to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Requirements

  • MBO technically trained (WTB, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar)
  • At least several years of relevant work experience in a production or technical environment
  • Independent, proactive and practical
  • You like broad responsibility
  • You work in a structured manner and enjoy bringing order to systems and processes.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally
  • You have a forklift certificate or want to obtain one
  • Good command of Dutch and English

The candidate

You'll have a multifaceted role that combines technology, organization, and communication. By performing practical work, reporting, and organizing it, you'll contribute to the continuity of our production. This also helps accelerate and implement developments and improvements.

Faults & maintenance

  • Detecting, analyzing and resolving faults
  • Maintain contact with external maintenance parties (for example, our packaging machines)
  • Coordinate with the engineering team on status, structural solutions and improvements
  • Careful reporting of findings and actions

Management of technical environment

  • Carrying out inspection rounds along machines and installations
  • Monitor and optimize utilities (water, air, extraction, softeners, etc.)
  • Keep technical areas tidy, safe and organized
  • Ensure order around the building (containers, materials, storage)

Warehouse & logistics

  • Keeping the technical warehouse organized
  • Ordering spare parts and technical consumables
  • Support for incoming and outgoing goods

Project support & improvement

  • The practical translation will be used in future engineering and production projects
  • Thinking about technical improvements
  • Participate in reviews and engineering meetings
