Bernadette Sztojka

As StartLife’s Startup Partnership Manager, Bernadette (Berni) Sztojka scouts and manages partnerships for promising startups for StartLife Accelerate, as well as for programs and events with StartLife’s Corporate Partners. As such, she has a leading role in StartLife’s startup scout and partnership processes.

Berni has a solid research background in horticulture and plant sciences. She has a bachelor’s degree in Horticultural Engineering from the Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, and obtained a master’s degree in Biodiversity & Conversation Biology from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca (Romania). Berni completed her academic career with a PhD degree in Plant Cell and Molecular Biology from Umeå University (Sweden).

Berni is passionate about sustainable innovations. Her goal is to promote startups addressing the challenges in the agri space.
