As the Managing Director of StartLife, Dr Nicola Harrison leads the charge in advancing agrifoodtech innovation with a global vision for sustainability.
Originally from the United Kingdom, Nicola (Nikki) brings over two decades of expertise in cluster development, multi stakeholder program management and business development within the agrifood and horticulture sectors. She most recently served as Director of Growing Kent and Medway, a leading UK innovation cluster focused on sustainable horticultural production, food processing, and associated supply chains.
Nikki’s unique blend of science-based innovation and startup ecosystem leadership positions her to guide StartLife’s strategic growth. Her role strengthens ties within the Wageningen Campus community while expanding European and global partnerships, fostering a collaborative network for impactful change.
Passionate about pre-competitive collaborations, Nikki aims to unlock groundbreaking solutions and deepen connections with agrifood ecosystems worldwide.
