Evangelos Kontos

As Investor Partnership Manager, Evangelos (Evan for short) Kontos is responsible for leading strategic relationships with existing and prospective Investor Partners. He is the link between AgriFoodtech startups and our Investor Partners.

Evan’s career is built upon the mission of driving sustainable innovation in the agrifood space by creating impactful collaborations that propel both startups and investors towards shared growth and success.

Evan is equipped with a diverse skillset and a strong educational background. He holds an MSc in Plant Sciences from Wageningen University, a Diploma (MSc equivalent) in Agriculture & Food from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and a FMVA Certificate from the Corporate Finance Institute.

His professional experience includes Food Intelligence Lead at Unknown Group, an early-stage venture capital and business firm, Project Lead at StartLife alumnus Insect Sense, and Agroconsultancy.

Evan is excited to maintain and form new strategic partnerships for StartLife, leveraging his unique blend of academic, entrepreneurial and financial acumen.
