Francesco Stagni
Francesco Stagni has a Bachelor’s degree from Italy in Food Production Management and a Master’s degree in Resilient Farming and Food System at Wageningen University, with a specialization in sustainable food system. For his Master’s thesis, he collaborated with the Agricultural Economics and Rural Policy group to identify strategies that encourage farmers to adopt soil health practices through carbon farming business models.
In addition to his academic pursuits, Francesco completed an internship with CEJA (European Council of Young Farmers) in Brussels. This experience enriched his technical expertise with insights into policy-making processes, while contributing to advocate for generational renewal in agriculture.
He is passionate about bringing a farmer centric perspective, he enjoys connecting people across the value chain, contributing to the transition to resilient food and farming systems.
