Shivam Sharma
Shivam Sharma has a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from India and a Master’s degree in Plant Sciences from Wageningen University, with a specialization in plant breeding. During his Master’s thesis, he worked with the Plant Breeding Department at Wageningen University, focusing on genetic modifications of potato and tomato to study resistance to Early Blight. This also included disease screenings to identify resistant potato varieties. His internship at Hazera Seeds (part of the Limagrain Group) involved a pilot project on digital phenotyping of cabbages, where he worked on standardizing the process of image capturing and processing.
Additionally, he has always been interested in management. during his Bachelor’s in India, he did an internship on Project Management, and during his Master’s at Wageningen University, he completed a course on management and a consultancy training program with one of the startups supported by StartLife.
