Ubald Kragten is the founder and owner of EyE on I, advising startups, investors and innovative companies on their insights, investment and innovation strategy and processes. He’s broad industry experience and knowledge in areas like the food and agriculture transition, the energy transition, mobility, urbanization and more. He’s working together with leading future focused companies and technology experts in various domains creating the leverage to support both small and large companies and connect market needs with technology opportunities.
Prior to starting his own company, he was co-leading the strategy process for selected growth areas like the protein transition at DSM, a global company focusing on health, nutrition and biosciences. He was also leading several pre-seed venture activities targeted at securing seed investment with a focus on food and biotech. He was strongly involved in shaping the long-term innovation portfolio of DSM, identifying growth areas, defining strategies to enter these areas, and developing strategies and key market insights.
Ubald has a global network along the food value chain, is frequently interacting with investors and various accelerators in EU and beyond.
